Have a question about hiring an igloo? These are the answers to our most frequently asked questions. If you can't find what you're looking for, feel free to contact us and we'll try to help!

What area do you cover?

We are based in Peterhead and cover Aberdeen city and shire. Get in touch if you are further afield as we are happy to go on adventures!

 

How big is the igloo?

Our igloos are 3.6m wide and can hold up to 12 people depending on what furniture is inside.

 

How big and what surface does my garden need to be?

We need a space of at least 3.8m x 3.8m. Our igloos can go on pretty much any surface as long as it's big enough and flat.

What do I need to provide for an igloo?

We don't need much from you - just a power socket within 25m of the igloo, somewhere to park nearby and outdoor access to your garden.

What's included?

Our igloos come with everything you need to make it a great night! Head to our packages page to see what is included with each igloo package. You can also add extras to make your hire even more special!


Do I have to go with one of the packages?

No - we're always open to ideas! Our packages cover lots of occasions but if you have your own vision then get in touch and we'll work with you to bring it to life!

 

Can I put my own decor in the igloo?

Of course! We are happy for you to enhance the decor in the igloo but ask that you discuss this with us first as some things may cause damage to the igloo.
 

Can I use the igloo in winter?

Yes! Our igloos are weather and windproof and come with a heater and plenty of blankets to keep you cosy, whatever the weather! In fact, they are the perfect way to host an outdoor event and not have to worry about the Aberdonian weather!

What time do you arrive?

We will arrive to set up your igloo between 9am and 5pm on the date of hire. You can get in touch with us the day before to request a more accurate time as it really depends on how many other hires we are setting up that day. If you have a specific time you would like us to set up please let us know in the booking form.

 

How do I make a booking?

Ready to go for it? You can make a booking by clicking the book now button at the top of the page and we'll get back to you by email as soon as possible (please check your junk mail if you haven't heard from within 24 hours). If you have any questions before you make a booking feel free to email us, call, or get in touch via social media.

How do I pay?

Payment is by bank transfer and we will provide the details in your original invoice. A 50% non-refundable deposit is required at the time of booking and the full balance required 7 days before the date of hire.

How much is delivery?

 Delivery costs are calculated based on distance and will be quoted in your initial invoice.

​

What is the cancellation policy?

If you cancel 7 days or more before your hire, you will forfeit the 50% deposit paid upon booking. If you cancel less than 7 days before your hire, the full balance is payable. 

We are more than happy to try to arrange for a different date to prevent you from losing money.
