We require you to read and accept our terms and conditions before booking with us. If you do not understand any elements of the T's and C's or have any questions please get in touch before placing a booking. 

Starry Night Igloos will:

  • Carry out all delivery, assembly and removal of the igloo and contents between 9am and 5pm unless alternative arrangements are made prior to the hire. If the Equipment is not erected on or before the agreed date, you will have the right to cancel and receive a full refund.

 

You as our client will:

  • Pay a non-refundable deposit of 50% of the total balance on booking (if more than 7 days before hire) and pay the full balance in accordance with the invoice 7 days before the event. 

  • Refrain from using any lighting, heating, cooking or other gas or electrical appliances in the igloo without prior permission from the company.

  • Not light any fires, candles or other sources of naked flame in the igloo.

  • Use all equipment provided in a safe and respectful manner and only in accordance with the company's instructions.

 

VARIATIONS

  • If we arrive and, without prior warning, ground conditions or access to the venue are not suitable for the igloo, the client will forfeit the full cost of the booking.

  • If the booking is amended after the initial invoice is sent we reserve the right to recalculate the delivery charge to cover the cost of delivering additional equipment.

  • If the equipment for whatever reason fails, we will refund the cost of equipment hire only.

  • Extras added will vary subject to availability.

 

LOSS, DAMAGE OR INJURY

  • Throughout the period of hire, you as the client are responsible for the equipment and its safekeeping and therefore are liable to pay for any repairs or replacements required as a result of damages caused by you.

  • You as the client must be satisfied with the equipment before use and should notify us of any miscounts, incorrect deliveries or unacceptable equipment before use.

  • If the igloo or any equipment supplied is damaged beyond repair, the client is responsible to cover the replacement cost up to £1500.

  • The hire charge does not include making good any repairs to the site unless caused by the negligence of the company.

  • We are not responsible for any loss or damage of your own equipment unless it is as a result of the negligence of the company. 

  • We are not responsible for injury to persons incurred within the igloo unless it was caused directly by faulty equipment or workmanship.

CANCELLATION

  • Cancellations with more than 7 days notice will be charged 50% of the hire fee (the non-refundable deposit). Booking can be rearranged for an alternative date to avoid loss of funds.

  • Cancellations 7 days or less before the booking date will be charged 100% of the hire fee.

  • In cases of severe weather where the safety of the client is at risk, the hire will be cancelled and an alternative date can be agreed. ​
